I dont' really know what to actually talk about on here, so here's my banshing ritual.
It's loosely based on the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, which is something I saw as a commonly recommended practice when I used to lurk on occult forums. The original uses a lot of Hebrew and angels which isn't really my bag (I don't get on with that god) so I changed mine to something more elemental and, I guess, "witchy".
The ideal is to start facing North, but that's not always reasonable to do so I just start in front of me no matter where I'm facing. I started doing this with actual phyiscal motions but usually do it just with visualization instead these days.
In front of me, I trace a green pentagram, starting from the lower left point and going up. For each of the five lines, I hear a note in my head, so the pentagram creates a little melody. When I finish, I picture a lush forest in front of me and push my will out towards it.
To my right, I trace a yellow-orange pentagram, from the upper left point and going right. Notes tone again, similar to the first five but different notes. When I finish, I picture a field of wheat waving in the wind towards my right side, and I push my will out towards it.
Behind me, I trace a red pentagram, from the lower right point and going up. Another set of tones plays. When I finish, I picture sitting at my fire pit behind me, and I push my will out towards it.
To my left, I trace a blue pentagram, from the upper right point to the left. A final set of notes play, and they seem to complete a larger melody. When I finish, I picture the ocean to my left, and I push my will out towards it.
Above me, I trace a golden pentagram, from the upper right point and going left. No notes play. When I finish, I picture the cosmos above me, and I push my will out towards it.
Below me, I trace a black pentagram, from the lower left point and going up. No notes play. When I finish, I picture the ground beneath me all the way to the magma core of the earth, and I push my will out towards it.
I pull up magma energy, filling my body from my feet all the way up to the top of my head. Then it empties out of me through my head up to the stars above.
I hold myself at my core inside of the sphere of energy around me. Sometimes I picture a rune whose energy I desire, or I make a wish or state and intention. A glow grows from my center out to the sphere around me, and flares when it reaches the sphere.
The ritual is done.
I've used this for a lot of things, including mild anxiety and night terrors, and it's done me a solid job.
